Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Women

I didn’t have a clue what to do for my 2021 calendar over the Christmas holidays in 2020. Fortunately, I eventually came up with the idea of putting my mug onto the impressive and beautiful women from the Marvel films.

January. “Scarlett Johanson” as Natasha Romanov (AKA Black Widow).
The demise of this character was heroic, noble and deeply sad.
February. “Cate Blanchett” as Hela.
As baddies go, this was a super attractive one.
March. “Natalie Portman” as Jane Foster / Mighty Thor.
I was very unhappy about Portman’s character being killed off in Thor: Love & Thunder.
April. “Zoe Saldana” as Gamora.
I don’t like the photo I used of myself for this. I don’t think it works very well.
May. “Jaimie Alexander” as Lady Sif.
Not a major character, but worthy one..
June. “Pom Klementieff” as Mantis.
Another interesting and attractive character.
July. “Elizabeth Olsen” as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch.
Olsen’s character recently went super-rogue in the Multiverse of Madness, so it’ll be difficult for her to fit back in as a good-guy.
August. “Hannah Johnkamen” as Ava Starr / Ghost.
I loved the character design from the film. Especially the mask that’s not shown here.
September. “Hayley Atwell” as Margaret “Peggy” Carter.
It would be good to see more of Atwell’s multiverse character Captain Carter, as seen in “What If…?” and Dr Strange 2.
October. “Karen Gillan” as Nebula.
More on Karen in a second.
November. “Evangeline Lilly” as Hope Van Dyne / The Wasp.
Great suit and character.
December. “Brie Larson” as Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel.
As probably the most powerful MCU character it’s going to be hard to figure out ways main villains can’t be defeated by her. They’ll probably have her off-planet in space again.
The cover of the 2022 Calendar.
The printed October page SIGNED by Karen Gillan.
My friend Jon Moore works on these films and showed Karen my calendar that he’d printed out. She loved it and offered to sign it without any prompt. Jon then sent it to me. It was a very pleasant surprise.
The lovely Karen Gillan and as her character Nebula.
