70s

Me and my mum at a 70s event in 2009
Big ‘tache. Big pout.
A different iteration for another occasion in 2004..
Mesmerised by future technology of a basic video games table.

Why

There was a Brutus Gold Love Train night in Leeds that we’d been invited to .

Brutus Gold’s Love Train.
70s business dress.
A casual look for the 70s man.

When

January 2004 and May 2009.

Elements

Wig, tinted glasses, Moustache, Neck Chain, Shirt, Tie, Red Trousers, Another iteration used a different wig, moustache and shirt.

Amount of Work

My girlfriend bought a dress off the shelf from a fancy dress store and I decided to make some flares and repurpose some garish shirt I’d either bought or been given.

Level of use

Two nights out in Leeds, five years apart.

Notes

There was more than a slight 60s hint to the stuff I put together but it didn’t matter. I made a medallion out of plastic guttering and sprayed it gold. I went with a CND logo, but that wasn’t really 70s related. The paint was rubbing off onto my clothes if I remember rightly.

Future use

Probably not.
