Bollywood
Why
My girlfriend at the time was a fundraiser for a charity and they were having a Bollywood themed night at some Mill or other. Themed dress was encouraged. We’d been over to Bradford to specialised shops for traditional Southern and Southeast Asian clothes. There was loads of fancy stuff in garish colours but all I wanted was a really plain garment. Fortunately, I found something quite cheap and suitable.

The long top part is a Kurta but I don’t know what the trouser things are called. I already had a normal t-shirt and shoes.

None.
Level of use
Just once.
Notes
Maybe I’ll wear it around the house and see if it’s more comfortable than my house lounging clothes.
Future use
Would do, but can’t imagine it would ever crop up again. Someone would probably claim cultural appropriation or racism in some way these days.
