It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but for the second time in 10 years, I just had the pleasure of seeing Essex-based “Kunt and the Gang” at the Brudenell Social Club, to a sell-out performance.
It’s a one man show, involving songs about wanking to a pornographic Polaroid of an ex-girlfriend that died, raping a paperboy, lots of high profile pedophiles and somehow choosing your favourite between chips or tits. Plus so much more, like song titles such as “Use my Arsehole as a Cunt” and “Boris Johnson is a Cunt”.
It’s basically top-tier crude comedy that’s very much in the same vein as Viz, Jerry Sadowitz and the Macc Lads. Not so much pushing the limits, but stamping all over them whilst taking a dump and being extremely funny.
Needless to say, I have never been to a gig before where it was possible to get a free copy of an old 2006 porn mag. And in my case, have it signed by “Kunt” himself.
I said I’d send him some of my rude packaging, but I don’t feel like I can hold a candle to his level of crude hilarious performance.
The most enjoyable Sunday afternoon I’ve had for a long time.
