Fau Greek Paving next to my house.

What

A painted effect to emulate some types of paving found in Greece. The effect is pretty much the same as a Voronoi Diagram, but with rounded edges.

When

September 2016.

  1. Hello, this is so nice, but I would like to know with what kind of color did you use?

  2. Hello, I would love a Greek patio and I have someone who is going to do it,however I am having difficulty finding the flat stones required. I would like to know how I could purchase stones exactly like the stone in your design.

    Thank you Margaret

    • Hello. These aren’t stones. It’s just a large flat space of concete painted to look like it’s the white mortar between stones. It’s quite effective and much cheaper and easier though.

    • I used Masonry paint. It looks great for quite a while. It doesn’t really fade or disappear, but it does get dirty. I’ve painted it twice. You can see what it looks like after 4 1/2 years by seeing the photo where I’m part way through re-doing it. 🙂
