I’m pleased to say that I’ve now made pub maps for the entirety of Yorkshire.
The region is covered by 19 maps, with a further 10 of smaller areas from the main maps, like city centres or popular coastal tourist towns. The main maps includes Redcar and Cleveland and Middlesbrough, which are parts of ceremonial Yorkshire, but some locals would like to disagree.
It would be very difficult and quite pointless to combine them all into one map as any resulting poster would either be too big to print and display or have details too small to read.
The first map for Leeds was started in 2008 and abandoned until 2013 when I completed resumed and completed it. The latest maps have been the combined former North Yorkshire districts of Hambleton & Redale and Craven & Richmondshire, which have been created in February 2025. Each map gets an update at least every three years, so it can feel like a never-ending task.
