Randoms (Ones even less worthy of full pages than some I’ve already done.) Whilst on holiday in Cyprus with friends in 2000, I took a trip to Egypt and came back with a Saudi headdress thing. Upon returning to Cyprus I thought it would be fun to go out in bed sheets as a Sheikh. Never wore it in public because one of my friends who was also going to go out in an identical get-up bottled it. Not even a costume, but just a papier-mâché mask that looked pretty sinister. About 1993. Not a costume, but just a funny photo of me briefly wearing my girlfriend’s clothes in 2005. I made some CD trousers for nightclub wear on my 2001 holiday to Ibiza. They weren’t as amazing as I somehow hoped they would be. Another instance of not being a costume, but just wearing a girlfriend’s jacket with a wig and fake teeth for no discernible reason. On holiday on Crete in 2003 as 118 men. Lots of jogging about saying “I’ve got your number”. Lame. I went to see one of my friends that worked as a night security guard in an office building. We found some massive glasses and an anorak and I pretended to be some kind of nerdy loser character. I cobbled together this “Steampunk” costume for a Whitby Gothic Weekend in 2010. It wasn’t a very good costume at all. An earlier slightly different version of a Steampunk costume for the Whitby Goth weekend that I didn’t end up using. I used this lycra top as the bas for my mummy costume. I think my girlfriend had brought the pink for some reason, and it just made for an amusing camp photo.
