Why
No particular reason. I just thought it would be fun to see if I could buy the different parts of a Fire & Rescue kit.
When
I got the tunic and trousers in December 2003 and the helmet in January 2004.

Jacket, trousers, helmet, novelty fire extinguisher.

None.
Level of use
Twice out, once to visit a new girlfriend. Once or twice at home parties.
Notes
I first wore it out anywhere in August 2004 for my 30th birthday gathering in Leeds. Other than that, I’ve only worn it one other time and that was in August 2017 when I did the Otley Run in it by myself.
Future use
The costume is no longer a current issue, but I could still get away with wearing it again and having fun with it I think.
