Restorations

I had offered this as a service on my old website but there were no takers. I did end up doing a few for people I knew with no charge though.

This is a very basic colour correction of a photo of me as a child. Anyone could achieve this in seconds. At this age I hadn’t learned to ride a bike so having a trundle about on a tricycle was very exciting.
This was another basic fix of a photo of me as a baby with an additional crop.
This fix of a colleague’s photo with his brothers needed much more work to deal with the creases as well as the colour correction.
This photo of me and my brother needed some big damage repairing but it wasn’t especially difficult.
Another photo (of my grandad and his RAF colleagues) that mostly just needed some brightness and contrast fixing
Another basic colour correction improvement of me as a child.
I was asked to fix this photo of someone I didn’t know. As well as fixing the faded nature of this photos, I also had to try and add parts that didn’t exist before. I just took a guess at a hairstyle.
Another photo of a person unknown tome that I was asked to repair. Overall it’s okay, but I don’t think the missing part is very well done though.
Although this is an improvement, it looks a bit duff.
As well as brightening this photo up, I also replaced the miserable sky.
The original photo lacked a lot of colour value but there was still enough to resurrect it to the cropped version.
This wasn’t so much a restoration as just a photoshop job. The original photo of my mum and stepdad was badly framed and cropped. I managed to find some suitable photos of the pyramids and a camel head to substitute in and add to the original photo.

I don’t anticipate needing to restore any photos in the future.
