Spiderman Repair

When I took my newly made alien egg to the cinema to rewatch Aliens, the manager of Cineworld at the White Rose Centre recognised me from the McD fame in March. He asked if I’d consider repairing Spider-Man’s fingers, as people had broken their statue in the foyer.

I went along last night to see Bugonia (good) and picked up the damaged limb. I repaired it with drilling, a dowel, epoxy putty, sanding and paint. Of course, it won’t withstand people yanking it, and the colour match isn’t perfect, but at least Spidey can cast his webs again. I wasn’t paid, but that’s okay.

I took it back today and watched Predator: Badlands (surprisingly entertaining). I don’t expect Marvel or Disney will come calling anytime soon though.
