Path Minge

Why
I had the cardboard backing for my massive Bottle Top Minge, and I thought it was a fair opportunity to use it as a stencil on the path. It covered some earlier paint daubs from some kids in 2005 or something.
You can see that project in full here.

When
September 2018.
Where
On the disused railway path on the Pastures, Rothwell. (Next to the field opposite my house.)
Materials / Media
Paper stencil and cardboard cut out, paint.
Production
The letters had to be printed at full size and I then cut them out of thick corrugated cardboard. The path minge was just a by-product of the living room Minge.

Execution
September 2018.
Notes
I don’t usually do anything rude that kids can see, but I sought the opinion of my neighbour, who I consider a responsible sensible member of the community. She said I should go ahead, so that was good enough for me. Actually, I think the question was whether I should put an “r” on the end because I think I’d already done the “Minge” and wasn’t sure if it was too terrible for public viewing.
Duration & Fate
Even though it was done with Masonry paint, it didn’t last that long. No trace of it after 3 years. Still traces of the old 2005 paint it was trying to cover up though.
In September 2021, the path was re-tarmacked.
